WU Alumni Survey highlights needs and wishes

The goal of our alumni work is to create offers that are tailored to the needs of the WU alumni community. To this end, the WU Alumni Team conducted a survey among WU alumni in May 2024 to determine the needs of WU graduates.

These are the results of the survey:

• Respondents are proud to be WU alumni and consider their alma mater to be a highly competent educational institution.
• The majority of respondents are willing to donate their time and expertise and would also volunteer for WU.
• The most popular offers for alumni are networking opportunities and know-how transfer.
• In terms of content, respondents would like to receive event announcements, information on networking opportunities, reports on research at WU - especially on projects and publications with current social relevance - as well as stories about WU alumni and news from WU.
• Newsletters, mailings and LinkedIn are the preferred means of information for the WU alumni community. The WU Alumni Magazine is also often used for this purpose.
