WU Alumni Lounge 2024

On June 13, 2024, around 500 graduates, professors and partners of WU and the WU Executive Academy gathered in the WU Alumni Lounge for the annual summer party of the Vienna University of Economics and Business to network and celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere.

The evening began with a champagne reception, where guests were warmly welcomed to the exclusive lounge.

WU Rector Rupert Sausgruber opened the event and thanked all friends and supporters of WU. He reviewed the highlights of the past alumni year and shared news from the international WU alumni community.

Special congratulations went to the graduates of the Class of 1999, who celebrated their 25th anniversary of graduation. In the specially set up "Silver Anniversary Corner", the jubilarians toasted this special occasion and celebrated with their former classmates.

Guests mingled until late in the evening, creating lasting memories.
