The WU Ball provided the WU Alumni community with a special setting for networking in the festive atmosphere of the Vienna Hofburg.

On January 13, 2024, the WU Ball took place at the Vienna Hofburg. 3,600 students, alumni, and professors, as well as international guests from WU’s social, business, and political circles, enjoyed the glamorous ball.
In the exclusive “WU Alumni Lounge” in the Geheime Ratsstube, alumni had the opportunity to network and celebrate. There, they could meet executives and decision-makers, network with other WU and WU Executive Academy alumni, and hit the dance floor. The alumni were particularly delighted by a meet-and-greet with the new WU Rector, Rupert Sausgruber, who also visited the lounge.
As a thank-you for their financial support and volunteer work for WU, the WU Alumni guests of honor were able to watch the ball proceedings from the WU Alumni VIP box. They took the opportunity to get to know one another and catch up in the unique atmosphere of the ball.
