WU Alumni. Then and now.
WU was founded as the Imperial-Royal Export Academy in 1898. The first students graduated in 1900. Nearly 100 years later, in 1995, a club was founded whose purpose it was to connect graduates of all academic degrees with their alma mater on a lasting basis. Today, WU Alumni is a cross-generational, global network that connects more than 80,000 people across various fields of study, industries, and life paths. Anyone who has completed a degree at WU is automatically part of this exclusive community – no club membership required.
