On 21 May, 'WU Alumni Company Insights' premiered at the Natural History Museum Vienna. This exclusive format provides WU graduates with insights into renowned companies and institutions, as well as the career paths of successful alumni.

The evening was hosted by Markus Roboch, Chief Financial Officer of the Natural History Museum Vienna. He gave a group of 25 WU alumni a personal insight into his professional development, his current role and cultural management. After studying Business Administration at WU, he progressed into the top management of leading Austrian cultural institutions, including the KHM Museumsverband, the Jewish Museum Vienna, and finally the Natural History Museum Vienna.

The Natural History Museum Vienna, one of the world’s important natural history museums, provided an exceptional setting for the evening. As well as gaining insights into museum operations and the collections housed in its impressive rooms, participants also had the opportunity to explore a hidden part of the museum: its underground storage facility. Millions of exhibits are kept there under special climatic and security conditions.

The atmospheric evening concluded with a reception on the roof of the impressive building, which combines natural history and imperial heritage, offering views over Vienna’s city centre. Participants then had the opportunity to continue and deepen their conversations. The premiere of 'WU Alumni Company Insights' thus became a special occasion for inspiration, exchange and networking within the WU Alumni community.
