With our new event format, the WU Alumni Salon, we aim to create a platform for dialogue between WU alumni and leading figures from the worlds of business, academia, and politics.

To launch the series, we will focus on the topic “Between Trump and Democracy: The Midterms as a Litmus Test.” Together with high-profile experts, we will discuss the potential implications of the U.S. midterm elections for Europe, the economy, and international cooperation.

  • Harald Oberhofer – Professor at WU and Senior Economist at WIFO
  • Christian Reininger – WU alumnus and Economic Policy Advisor to the Federal Chancellor

No-Show = No Go. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 48 hours before the event begins. This gives other interested alumni the opportunity to take part in the event.
