WU Alumni Stammtisch: Special tour FLEX & WU-Library

At the WU Alumni Stammtisch with special tour on April 10, the alumni could experience innovative teaching and learning at first hand. 

The WU Alumni Stammtisch was all about "Teaching & Learning" – with a special tour of the Campus WU. The numerous alumni were given exclusive insights into the audio and video studio of the new Future Learning Experience Center (FLEX), the innovation hub for modern teaching and learning formats at WU. Special highlights: Testing the Green-Screen, Light Board as well as VR glasses in a realistic simulation of a lecture hall.

Another highlight of the program was a visit to the architecturally impressive WU Library, where the group was given background information on the library's spatial concept, how it is used, and the services it offers students, teachers, and external users. Participants were given an opportunity to enjoy the unique view from the library's study area over the Vienna Prater park. The breathtaking view was captured in one or two photos.

As usual, the evening concluded with networking at the Finn café-restaurant – a relaxed setting for exchanging new impressions, old memories and the opportunity to make contacts.
